• Ok so I have a serious bug here, if the events are selected to appear in the main blog loop. The documentation indicates this defaults to the event date. that is not what im seeing- all events are showing by their published date.

I downloaded the extension to change this based on preference (event date or published date) but it has no effect at all.

what is odd, is downgrading the calendar plugin to a version less than 6.0 the events do indeed then show by event date, not by published date. so clearly something had been changed in development and its not my theme doing this. I am using Generatepress and PHP version 7.4

any help is appreciated, curious if anyone else is seeing this behaviour.

just to say on this page ive linked, everything except the post titled “What Most People Think” is an event. you can clearly see they are not listed correctly (some going back to 2015 etc)

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @capitalismclown

    Thanks for reaching out.

I understand that this must be frustrating for you. After looking into it, I’m sorry to say that the extension you’re using is not compatible with The Events Calendar 6.0 and above. However, please know that we’ve taken note of your case and added it to our internal ticket.

I am, however, unable to provide an ETA on this. Extensions are a low priority, so it can take some time before this is addressed. You’ll get notified once there is an update and fix.

Let me know if you have further questions or concerns.
