• Hi folks,

recently I installed the Mailchimp plugin which worked fine for a few days.
But now there’s a weird „overlay“ in the upper left corner, please see: https://ibb.co/4dZjrmv

Because of this overlay, I can’t click on the links that should be on this position!

It’s only on the WordPress pages of Mailchimp, not on the other WP pages and plugins.
And it appears in several browsers (Chrome, Firefox, IE).
Nevertheles, Mailchimp says this is a WordPress problem, so here I am!

The browser shows that this overlay elements has something to do with this:
    <div class=“prompt-box“><div class=“show-error“></div></div>
which is inside of wpwrap – wpbody-content.

Any guesses what this might be?
Appreciate any help – thanks in advance!!!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @lutzh-1 ,

The position of it suggests that it might be an admin notice – these are often implemented by plugin developers to provide an alert (error, success, info, warning).

If it appears on Mailchimp admin pages, that would suggest that there is some issue with the plugin, or perhaps a conflict with another plugin. One thing you can try is to systematically disable any other plugins you have installed and see if it disappears.

    Hi,

If you can post your website URL then I can check that. Is it appearing only in backend or both frontend and backend?

    Thanks!
