What a week! It has been great seeing the excitement across our global platform since we announced our intention to combine and become Ashurst Perkins Coie. The photos from across our offices, as teams came together to celebrate and share stories, stand as a reminder of what makes both our firms special. I know that as our Ashurst people get to know people at Perkins Coie, they will see what we have always seen: shared values, a mirrored history of delivering for our clients and commitment to supporting our people. It’s a strong foundation for everything ahead. A huge thank you to everyone for your enthusiasm, hard work, and the way you’ve embraced the prospect of this next chapter. And another thank you to everyone who has reached out to celebrate the news. This is very much a firmwide effort, and it’s been great to see the sense of excitement from our people and our clients. It's been a whirlwind few days here in New York with more coffee than sleep, with our announcement earlier in the week of our intention to combine with Perkins Coie to form Ashurst Perkins Coie. The buzz, the sense of momentum and the confidence about what this means for our future have been remarkable! From internal town halls – with nearly 3000 of our people joining around the world – to conversations across the firm and with clients, the interest and support we've received has been hugely positive. During what has been a very busy week, I also joined our New York team for a town hall, and visited Perkins Coie’s offices for celebratory drinks. My thanks to the Office Managing Partners – Ashurst's Sharon Kim and Perkins Coie's Ronald Sarubbi – and their teams for their hospitality and support at this exciting moment for our two firms. Ashurst Perkins Coie will bring together 3,000 lawyers across 52 offices in 23 countries, a shared commitment to innovation, including in AI, and a truly differentiated global law firm in the industries shaping the future economy. More to come, but for now, a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has helped make this possible. And thank you to Kaye Wiggins and the Financial Times for covering this milestone moment for Ashurst - read it here: https://lnkd.in/gx7vM28M #AshurstPerkinsCoie #OutpacingChange #Ashurst Karen Davies

We're leveraging AI to transform the way we work and reimagine how we deliver for our clients. Less routine. More judgement. Faster, clearer insights across deals, disputes and regulation. Following the announcement of our intended combination with Perkins Coie to form Ashurst Perkins Coie, our focus stays firmly on practical, secure and high-impact innovation. Here’s how we’re already putting AI to work for our clients.
