We reaffirm our commitment to education and equal opportunities by formalising an alliance with ACNUR Comité español to promote university education for refugee women through the DAFI scholarship programme (which originated as the Albert Einstein German Academic Initiative). As part of this commitment, around 100 scholarships will be awarded by 2027: 69 full scholarships that will cover the entire university programme, and 27 final-year scholarships, aimed at supporting those who are close to graduating and entering the job market. At Mango, we understand fashion as an expression of fundamental values such as inclusion, diversity and respect, and we believe that our corporate work should contribute to the development of society. We continue with our Mango Home expansion with the opening of our first stand-alone store for the line in Madrid, the fourth worldwide. Located in the Moraleja Green Shopping Centre, in the north of the city, the point of sale has a sales area of 260 m² and recreates a home where customers can discover ideas for every room and enjoy an inspiring shopping experience. Following the value proposition of the line, the store offers products for every room in the home with focus on quality, contemporary style and products with a unique character, creating collections that bring warmth and personality to homes, always with a focus on craftsmanship and timeless design, and our brand's signature Mediterranean spirit. This opening is another step forward in the consolidation and growth of our home line and its potential. Since its creation in 2021, Mango Home has more than tripled in size and is currently present in 34 online markets, mainly in Europe and the United States. Recently we had the pleasure of sponsoring the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) Datathon in Barcelona, where talented individuals tackled innovative challenges. The event opened with a keynote delivered by our Data & Advanced Analytics team, providing an overview of Mango and the strategic role of data in our organisation. This was followed by the presentation of our challenge, focused on forecasting the number of garments to produce for an upcoming season using historical data and modelling techniques. A total of 132 participants chose to take on Mango’s challenge, and we would like to thank each of them for their effort, dedication and creativity throughout the competition. We also extend our congratulations to the winning team for the quality and precision of their solution. These sessions reflect our commitment to the Empower pillar of our 4E Strategic Plan 2024–2026. Through this pillar, Mango aims to empower and develop its teams, fostering pride of belonging and attracting the best talent to build a stronger and more competitive organisation. We continue our expansion and brand consolidation plan in Scotland with the opening of our first store in Aberdeen, at Union Square shopping centre, located in the heart of the city. The new point of sale, which has a sales area of over 450 m², exclusively stocks the Woman collection and features the New Med Mediterranean-inspired store concept, reflecting the spirit and freshness of our brand. This opening is part of our 4E 2024-2026 Strategic Plan, which aims to drive sales and store expansion, including an ambitious roadmap to strengthen our store presence across the UK, a priority growth market. We move forward with our Mango Man expansion with a store in Roma Termini station, the most important railway station in the city and one of the main stations in Europe. The new point of sale is the first Mango Man standalone in Rome and third in Italy, following the successful launch of the line in the country in 2025 in Bologna, at number 15 of the central Via Ugo Bassi, and the recent opening in Milan, at 25 Corso Buenos Aires. The new point of sale offers the complete Mango Man collection including clothing, footwear, accessories, and sportswear, combining timeless and versatile staples with contemporary pieces. It also features our New Med concept inspired by our Mediterranean heritage and culture, with natural textures, warm tones and sustainable materials.
