Today we would like to present the Palacio de Hierro León (Mexico), winner of the Latin America International Award. Designed by Sordo Madaleno, under the direction of Andrés Cajiga, and with engineering and distribution by Katorce Espacios, this project redefines the integration between architectural design and construction functionality. Its large-format Dekton Marmorio façade and interior application in Dekton ID create a unique dialogue between exterior and interior, combining modernity, natural character, and low maintenance. A proposal that demonstrates how innovation and beauty can go hand in hand.

The Nagoya Metro Station project (Japan), designed by Ichikawa Michio Architects, has been awarded the International Asia Prize at the Macael Awards 2025. With more than 1,800 m² of walls and floors clad in Dekton, this underground space is transformed through a unique palette of colors: Helena, Keranium, Taga, Arga, Spectra, Lunar, Halo, and Kreta. The undisputed star: Dekton Helena, with its polished finish that reflects light and turns the station into a brighter, more welcoming environment, reducing the need for additional artificial lighting.

The jury awarded the International Europe Prize to the Baltic Infinity project, located in Międzyzdroje, Poland, a beachfront residential and hotel complex whose ventilated façade has been entirely constructed using Dekton. Dekton was chosen for its almost zero porosity and resistance to humidity, salinity, and environmental agents, as well as its ease of cleaning. In order to harmonize with the aesthetics of the surroundings, three shades were used—Danae, Moone, and Domoos—in beige, white, and black finishes. 📍 San Ramon, California (USA) For this townhouse project, designer Nakisa Rezvani of NRK Design Studio set out to create a home that felt open, balanced, and connected, while also offering moments of depth and contrast. Cosentino materials played a key role in maintaining this design language consistently throughout the home. In the master bathroom, Dekton Rem covers the walls, floors, and shower tray, while the striking Dekton Somnia shapes the custom-made, integrated countertop sink. The second bathroom continues with the same palette thanks to the Dekton Rem flooring, combined with a Silestone Evita sink that provides a subtle variation. In the kitchen, Dekton Rem reappears on the countertops, backsplash, and hood, while Dekton Albarium, in large-format slabs, provides a clean backdrop on the walls. The living room fireplace becomes a sculptural focal point, clad in Dekton Rem with Ukiyo grooves to add texture and dimension. 📍 Singapore Is it possible to transform an urban flat into a natural haven? According to HOFT Collective, the answer is yes. This is the premise of their latest project, a 103-square-metre apartment in Singapore with Japandi and Balinese influences, where natural light and greenery set the tone. In this context, naturalness was essential. For this reason, the studio chose Dekton Danae for the kitchen worktop and splashback, as well as for the imposing custom-made dining table. Like sand shifting in the desert, this surface captures various shades of beige that embody the essence of dune movement, creating a pattern that perfectly complements the calcic aesthetic finishes of the floor and walls.
