✨ What a week... two of my fabulous candidates have received job offers, I have a new EA search in Frankfurt with a new client, the business has been nominated for an award, and my new puppy is sleeping through the night. I'm celebrating all of these achievements!! ☺️ Introducing Daphne, in charge of wellness and happiness in the Hauser Recruiting home office! Having a Bürohund seems to be a popular thing in Frankfurt. One of my favourite things when I'm in town is walking down Bockenheimer Landstraße at lunchtime and seeing people I know walking their dogs, stopping to have a chat! I've had countless office meetings with clients that have started with "I hope you don't mind our office dog…" and coffees with candidates that have featured a gorgeous dog sitting quietly under the table. All of these clients and candidates report such positive benefits about having a dog in their work lives. Granted, not all building managers allow dogs access, and it becomes an issue if the perfect employees are allergic or fear dogs. Likewise, it doesn't work if a dog isn't well behaved..! But for offices that do allow an employee to take their dog to the office, and are sensible about the frequency and number in the office, employees tell me the culture in the office is brighter, happier, less stressed and employees are more inclined to socialise in the open plan. One of my fabulous candidates told me she even receives a bonus for bringing her dog to the office because of the calming influence on the team around her! I can report that many great candidates list a company that allows office dogs as one of the reasons they would choose to work there. For some, it’s a complete deal breaker if they can’t. So, if you're in charge of an office and saying no to office dogs, I hope this gives you food for thought! ✨ Frohe Weihnachten und einen guten Rutsch ins neue Jahr!   The end of the working year has come. Hauser Recruiting is nearing the end of its fourth month and what a start it has been! A heartfelt thank you to all who have supported us and come along on the journey to elevate business support in the key business hubs in Germany.
