Here are three ways we joined partners in driving climate innovation forward: • Accelerating climate-tech innovation Through #CarbonX, we’re supporting next-generation decarbonization solutions. This year, 50 finalists are advancing ideas that could help industries move toward a lower-carbon future. • Connecting people with climate solutions Our open platform #TanLIVE — built to bring climate stakeholders together — rolled out four new applications to help innovators, enterprises, and institutions access verified technologies and AI-enabled insights. • Mobilizing partners for nature We signed an MoU with Suzano and Instituto Ecofuturo to support biodiversity education and protection efforts. We've been inspired by the discussions at COP30 last week — especially the conversations on how different communities can help accelerate climate awareness. Among the ideas shared was the growing potential of games to make environmental issues more engaging and accessible. Aligned with Tencent’s mission of “Tech for Good,” we have been participating in wider industry initiatives such as Playing for the Planet and the #GreenGameJam, while also driving our own internal program — Play for Good — to explore how games and esports can serve as creative platforms for learning, dialogue, and positive engagement around sustainability.
